Amy Butler Laptop Case

Something for Dean from the new Amy Butler laptop case pattern I bought from Duckcloth to protect his laptop in his backpack to and from work.
Some of the interfacing/stabilizer used in the pattern isn't available here in Australia so I contact the lovely girls at Nicole M Design in Melbourne and ended up using their Fast2Fuse instead of the Peltex. The Fast2Fuse is fusible both sides instead of just one like Peltex so I sandwiched it between two pieces of poly then fused the fleece onto the poly.

Finding the "right" fabric was just painful. For some reason Dean didn't want florals or anything pink which I seem to have oodles of. I finally found this spots fabric and black and white stripe in the quilters section at Spotlight and he was happy.

An "action shot" Dean asked for. All snug and cozy or as Bella puts it "toasty warm".
