With my leftover Amy Butler fabric from MIL's quilt, I wanted to make myself something and this morning I came across this tutorial for a pleated bag. Didn't it come up nice? I'm very happy with it.
This bag is lovely! What a great use for the fabric. I'm not sure if this is correct blog ettiquite but I was wanting to ask a question about the lovely headbands you've been making for your daughter - how did you resize the pattern to fit a child's head? Did you just resize it on a photocopier or did you keep the width the same as the original pattern and shorten it? Thanks for the wonderful inspiration!
Hi Kelly.. thanks for popping by and for the lovely comment. For the headband I kept it the same width and took off some at each end of the band and also reduced the elastic. I measured my daughters head and made it slightly bigger for comfort. From memory it was about 1/2 inch off each end and 1 inch off the elastic.
