From my new Ottobre Kids 1/2008, the "Polka Dot Blouse" on page 12. I did it in a size 104, but I think I'll need to make the next size up in the tops for Isabella, she is so long in the body. It has gathered arm and neck and I love the little bow tie to do up around the neck. I have 2 of my Ottobre magazines now from my 5 issue subscription and so many nice things to make!

i find i always need to use the bigger size in length and smaller size around, even with my big-tummied girls!
Ooooooooo I love it! Actually the neckline is just like the japanese top I made. It's an adorable style isn't it?
Well done!
Thanks girls for the comments. Thanks for the tip on the size too, definitely need the next size up for the waist and possibly even a touch longer for the length.
PL, it is similar to your top's neckline isn't it? In the issue it is in a section called "Japanese influence"!
oh it's lovely! Thats the same one I want to make for Isla! You have inspired me to start it!
I love that shirt...beautiful! Are the patterns in the magazine easy to follow? I haven't actually seen a magazine and was wondering before I bought one.
Hi Carrie, This is the first Ottobre pattern I've used and it was very straight forward. You do need to be careful when tracing the patterns out though, they are all smoodged together - not one for late at night!.
