Hmm this "This Is" is a hard one, I LOVE cooking. I couldn't decide..
Our electric wok?
Rice cooker?
Slow Cooker? (A new buy that is very handy)
But if I HAD to decide, it would probably be our multi processor.
We got it for a wedding present decades ago (OK it only feels like that long ago). Originally we never used it, then Bella came along and we needed to puree all her food so we broke it open from the box. Since then it's been used on everything including Liam's food now and makes a mean smoothie just Princess size.
But I bet this would be my favourite kitchen tool if I had one. I'll have one with all the accessories and attachments thanks.
While we're on the cooking topic, I made these the other night. They were quick and yum. They make enough for 2 adults.
Golden Syrup Dumplings
120g self-raising flour
a pinch of salt
30g butter
1 egg
A little milk
1 cup water
3 tablespoons golden syrup
90g sugar
Mix the flour (I didn't sift mine) and salt, rub in the butter, add the egg and milk and mix to a soft dough.
Bring one cup water, golden syrup, sugar and one tablespoon butter together to the boil.
Roll dough into small balls and drop straight into the boiling mixture, cover with lid and boil gently for 20 minutes.
Serve immediately. Add some cream or ice cream if you want to go over the top!
Hmm all this talk of food, now I'm hungry!

Oh yum, I haven't had golden syrup dumplings for years!
You can't go past a little processor when you've got kids. But I'm sure a Kitchenaide Mixer would be my favourite if I had one too!
I lust after the Kitchen Aid as well. I actually hinted so badly that I wanted one for my birthday this year but instead got a Kenwood Chef which I am sure is just as good but just not as darn pretty.
It is funny though as I told Jnr that we now have a Chef his name is Ken Wood. I was going to make a cake the other day and he asked if Ken was going to make it for us....lol
