Blogtoberfest Day 5: Backpack

Isabella is going to her first birthday party for a friend from daycare this weekend. What do you get a 4-year old boy who you really have no idea what they like?

So I made up with a toddler backpack from a pattern I have. Isabella and Liam also have one each that I made up a few weeks ago but are in constant use so haven't been photographed yet and posted. Liam can't leave home without his "backkkpackkk".

I want to add something else to the front, maybe some flames embroidered on.

Tomorrow on Blogtoberfest: Who knows!

Cute! I know my four year old boy would definately love it. It's got a rocket on there, what's not to love? The flames sound like a great idea too by the way.. I think it would be a wonderful finishing touch.

That's gorgeous and I think the flames would be ace too.
It's so much cooler than those horrible licensed character backpacks that all the kiddies have.

Love it! Gorgeous. How about a crescent moon or some stars? Flames are cool too.

That turned out fabulously fun! I still need to get mine made, but since they are for Christmas I think it's alright to put it off a little longer. I just haven't found the right fabric yet.
