The Cat Project

A few weeks ago, I splurged on new cushions for the lounge from Country Road. Everyone loved them... except the cat. Apparently the older (larger and boring) cushions were better for laying on, so every night she would jump up next to me, look at the new cushions then give me a look of distaste, refusing to sit on them. Death stares from a cat... good times.

Luckily the older cushions were still waiting to be dropped off to rubbish, so I pulled one back out and one night Isabella and I got to work.

(As soon as the old cushion reappeared, the furry family member did not leave our side)

Isabella's picture of the cat, which I then transferred to some red and white fabric and appliquéd onto some new dark blue cotton.

The end cushion. Sat on non-stop since it appeared on the lounge, and already been through the wash a couple of times.

The cat is happy again. The death stares have stopped.

Why are cats so damn bossy?
I'm very glad that puss is now comfy and cosy with the lovely new cushion.

lol cool cushion! You are lucky the cat still liked it, cats being somewhat fickle (and contrary).
