Far Far Away 2 Lattice Quilt Start

A couple of nights ago I started cutting out my Far Far Away 2 fat quarters to start on a version of this beautiful quilt which reminds me of a garden lattice. I love the idea of a quilt featuring an entire range of fabrics, especially the beautiful images from Heather Ross including Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, and The Owl and the Pussycat.

So all the squares are now cut as are most of the white strips. Last night I put together half the rows and hopefully, with the kids staying the night at their Grandparents and all day tomorrow I might get the top finished.

Start of the Far Far Away 2 quilt

Tomorrow we have our 20 week ultrasound and if it turns out to be a little girl, I think this might just be hers. If it's a boy, I have some very cute David Walker Robots fabric sitting in a drawer, perfect for a quilt.
