I may not have cleaned....

I may not have cleaned in the last 2 weeks (it's not THAT bad, Dean has been cleaning, but it is "man style") but thanks to the dodgy ankle, I have attacked the yarn stash. I must admit I don't have much of a "stash" since I normally only buy skeins for specific projects, but I had a few balls left over from projects, plus a couple odd balls here and there.

So the last week on the lounge has translated into

Pattern: Bloom by Georgie Hallam for Eva
Yarn: Bendigo Luxury 8 ply in Stone

Pattern: Missy Strawberry by Salihan Crafts
Yarn: (now discontinued) Panda Zoomy

Pattern: Baby Shrug by Debbie Bliss for Eva
Yarn: Just under one skein of Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted in Glazed Carrot

Pattern: Cheri Hat from Peachy Knits for Eva
Yarn: Morris Pure in Sooty
Modified by adding the extra band and secured with two silver buttons

Pattern: Cherub Cheeks Beanie by Amanda Tipton for Eva
Yarn: Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted in Sauterne

There is also a Mobius Cowl for me, but photographing that means hobbling into the bedroom to take a photo which just sounds like too much effort for a Sunday afternoon. So all up, pretty good, huh! The next burst of projects using the stash balls I'm thinking of making

- Another Cecily Baby Sweater for Eva with some Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in Tea Rose
- Turn A Square for Dean with a half ball of  Bendigo Classic 8 Ply in Smoke and Cotton 8 Ply in Noir
Rib-a-Roni for Liam with some leftover Bendigo Luxury 10 Ply in Lake
- Like Sleeves for Baby with Bendigo Classic 5 Ply in Smoke
- Swirl Hat for Bella with Bendigo Luxury 4 Ply in Blossom
- Wilhelmina's Baby Sweater for Eva in stripes of Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in Barnyard Red and Dusty Sage

And that my dear friends will be almost my whole stash gone. No doubt my Mum will probably steal a couple of the non-hat projects, but that's ok, I'm sure I have enough to keep my busy until next winter.

So at least there has been an upside to being lounge ridden for a couple of weeks. Tomorrow I start physio, let's hope he's nice.

That dress is GORGEOUS! I should have commissioned you to make one for Layla when she was little!

Love the beanie (baby hats are very satisfying and a great way to use up stash) and immediately zipped over to buy the pattern. Now I need more friends to have new babies.
